Guest guest
My husband got back from having Gabys stitches removed and the doctor was happy with her healing. The nurses were amazed at her progress and wondered how her " flu " was doing.? Of course my husband had no idea what they were talking about. What flu? Apparently Gaby tested positive for the flu right after her surgery. Nobody realized she was even that sick until during the surgery when they noticed the fluid buildup which means a flu is going on. By then it was to late to turn back so they continued with the surgery. Nobody told us anything. This is first we heard of it. I knew that they put her on a bunch of anti-biontic but thought that was because of the heart surgery and chance of infection. Now I am totally amazed at Gabys progress and can't believe how blessed we are that she is recovering so well. Wow! To be honest, I'm glad that I didn't know about her flu while she was in surgery or I would've totally freaked out right there. You know? God knows what he is doing, thats for sure. He knows how much we can handle too, thank goodness. Anyway, Gaby did have her flu shot this year but I guess it doesn't cover everything. She was usually congested so none of that seemed unusual at the time. Just wanted everybody to know. Take care you'all!
