I'm listening. The big cooler goes in the car before the kids! I don't have any

NT recipes but there is a soup I was thinking about making out of Dr. Mercola's

total health cookbook.

For anyone who is more computer literate than me (which is most people) -is

there

someway that we could create a list of who is coming and what they might bring?

I went ahead and did this. To use it, simply click Database in the

box to your left. You will see an item called " Sharing & Caring

Sept. 25 " Click on that. Then you will see a new table that has two

headings: " Name " and " Bringing what? "

To add your name and item(s), just click Add Record. Type in the

appropriate information in the corresponding box. When finished,

click Add Record (it might say Save Record, I forget which). Your

data will then be saved.

I believe you can go back and edit later if something turns out to be

unfeasible for you, but I'm not 100% sure of this. Any questions,

let me know.

Great idea and great job, Joe!

Could you add another field for " Wanted " or " Looking for... " I

would love to post what I am looking for, I bet others are of the

same mind. And that would help people to think of what they could

bring (like Therese suggested Piima milk, that made me think of my

Piima cultures- just needed some incentive, after all! ;-)

Sara

PS Just a FYI, Lynn H. makes a terrrrific cheese! I didn't ask what

kind it was, but it was delicious! I am not so sure about making

mozzerella cheese, I would end up with whey too much whey to deal

with! Unless I could find a way to unload lots quick.

Done! :o)

Adding or editing your own info is very simple. If anyone has

questions or problems with doing this, please let me know. Any

suggestions for additional fields are welcome too.

It's colby cheese- not aged or " dried " , just very fresh.

I think it would work well to have the first hour to buy. Although we may

not have many people the first time, my guess is that eventually we will

have more people interested in coming. I am finding that even people who

are interested in eating well are just giving up because they cannot find

the time to spend in the kitchen. They want to just buy it so they don't

have to give up their life as it is. Instead of changing the way they eat,

they are looking at finding the ultimate supplement that will make them

healthy. Sometimes I have to admit, I would love that to happen also,

especially when I become really busy. If this is true of many of you, my

guess is that the best thing we can do is try to get everybody to specialize

in one thing (more if anyone wants to), but it would be good for all persons

to become actively involved. We don't need to make it mandatory, but we

could do some encouraging. Also, if we allow one hour of shopping for those

who bring something it may be an incentive for more people to try some

recipes. This could be the answer to the time problem. I love it!!!

email to the group. We need to get a sense of how many people will attend,

i.e. 5? 25? I'm with Jane in that I would want time to shop as well as

time to sell, and I'm with Therese in that we don't want product

duplication! ;-)

>

> Perhaps the first hour it could be only the sellers buying. Those

people who brought things to sell can go around looking to swap or just buy

outright (or pay for the difference). The problem with this approach is

that there wouldn't be someone " minding " the store. But we could probably

solve this with having floaters or a spouse at the table so the seller is

free to shop. Then after the first hour other people who came with nothing

to sell could browse and buy. This all probably would take 2 hours? I

thought of the " Round Robin " approach too, but can't wrap my mind around

that, for some reason. Just one " floater " would be needed in that way but

it will be more time consuming.

(probably some with low sugar, and some with stevia) Piima milk (thanks for

the tip, Therese! I have some culture that I should get busy with!) and

maybe some homemade Mozzerella cheese! Mmmm! I'm already salivating about

Sept. 25! ;-)

are you listening? ;-) As I understand it, we are also welcome to bring

just storing the grains. That's sometimes hard when you're busy with a

toddler and such.
