Hello Debbie,Unfortunately, you have to get it pre-approved with your health insurance company BEFORE purchasing it. I am aware of people who worked with their insurance companies to get the purchase pre-approved. At least you have your Vitamix and your husband is getting superior nutrition. As a nurse I have got to say, WHAT A GREAT IDEA! I am sure that using a Vitamix to make tube feedings is far superior to the normal canned/bagged stuff. REAL FOOD!
