Guest guest
First of all, Kathy, that March of Dimes bunch is like most of the big charitable organizations, much money spent, very little outcome! All your money goes to further fund drives and fat cat executive salaries. What an outrage though that they couldn't even give you a shred of basic advice about gestation nutrition! How idiotic. They could even have basic stuff about cigarettes, drugs, alcohol and certain known foods. Duh. Seems too impossible to believe! Secondly, , your information does help fill in some of the blanks in the background of this ratty experiment. As much as I am violently against animal experimentation, I often quote Pottenger's work and I love the one study where they fed rats breakfast cereal, and then fed another batch of them the BOX the cereal came in. Guess which group did the best? Another mistake many media people make is asking these specialist scientists in the general sciences to SPECULATE on the meaning and practical value of their research findings, which is like expecting a good movie star to be top shelf literate on other issues such as political ones. It doesn't work that way, but the scientists themselves willingly jump in and are all too eager to imagine deep meaning and practical value to their very specific and fractional work. True science requires decades of overlapping and repetitive studies to map out even the smallest factoid. Much too slow for these modern times and news deadlines, the minions of which try to jump on practically every study as if it were the final truth. So, seriously, , DON'T WAIT for more dumb research " proof " before you commence your nutritional product line! There is so much evidence both clinically and epidemiologically to work with. I loved it when you said you would " have to scramble to get into the egg business " . Question is, do you want to end up with egg on your face? Rebekah has been blowing people's minds making such things as CREME FRESH (sp?) and FLAN using all the good ingredients such as pastured eggs, raw cream and other natural foods. When guests say " Whoa, I thought you guys were into HEALTH FOOD??? " you can imagine the shock and delight when they get the response 'THIS IS! " . Most of our friends are SO damaged by the low-fat propaganda they will only politely nibble on these desserts, which, to them, are the zenith of naughty, bad food. Then the next day they eat a low-fat, low carb pre-fab plastic dessert! So many people think food has to either be good for you and taste bad, or, if it tastes good it MUST be bad. What a huge loss. Anyway, , I'm ready to find some people to go into the HEALTHY FOOD BUSINESS with. I'm open to all good ideas too. Will
Guest guest
Just want to add that Kirk & add so much love and integrity into everything they do! They take what they feed their chickens to heart...and to emphasize what Rebekah said...they're SOY-FREE!!! Many of us already know how difficult it can be to find high quality soy-free eggs, so this is VERY MUCH WORTH its weight in gold! I could go on and on about the great things that Kirk & do! Nab 'em up now while you have the chance! Guest guest
I've never had the Partello's eggs but I've been talking to Kirk a bit lately about getting unique cuts of grass fed beef and during our discussion he told me about his protocol for their eggs. They are doing it right! So if anyone has a chance, jump on these, they really put a lot of effort in to super nutritious feed!
Guest guest
All, This is true. There will be more eggs available, and I may be able to host a pick up site for them. More soon on this. They are beautiful and tasty eggs.
