I'm looking at purchasing a Vitamix but wondering if I'll get a better deal from Vitamix or waiting a couple weeks for the demo at Whole Foods. Anyone buy theirs from Whole Foods? I've actually never been there but see they will be doing a demo soon! Thanks

Guest guest
Lea Ann (our group owner) can probably get you the best deal. I am sure she will contact you-you is just finishing up a show, so it might be tomorrow. She can arrange a payment plan and/or free shipping for you. > > I'm looking at purchasing a Vitamix but wondering if I'll get a better deal from Vitamix or waiting a couple weeks for the demo at Whole Foods. Guest guest
I just wrapped up a show at a Whole Foods Market. You get a SPECTACULAR deal there! You will get an 8 vs. a 7 year warranty and a gift set with cutting boards, spatulas, and two extra books (in addition to the books and dvd that come in the box). If your WFM is in Florida, you are likely to also get a $50 coupon off of the retail price so instead of $449, it will be $399. Guest guest
Thanks for the endorsement!I can give a really good deal when compared to ordering off of the Internet (if someone is willing to purchase a refurbished machine) and I can even toss in a small "extra" that isn't advertised if someone was paying retail off of the Internet, but Road Shows often have really good deals that I can't beat. :-) Blessings,Lea Ann SavageSatellite Beach, FL(321) 773-7088 (home)(321-961-9219 (cell)))><'>www.VitamixLady.comwww..com<))>< On Sep 5, 2011, at 7:07 PM, Schafer wrote: Lea Ann Savage one of the VitaMix demonstrators and the moderator of our group will get you the best deal. Guest guest
After year of waiting and wishing (and saving) I bought mine off the website (phone order) for my birthday in August. Got a refurbished for $379, plus I bought a dry container. I told the salesperson what I wanted, that I was *very* price conscious and asked if there was any advantage to waiting for the state fair ( a few week off) where there is always a demo. (I live way out in the country and so had never seen a demo in person...just the online youtube and website stuff. She said absolutely not..the only way to get a better price is to buy the refurbished. So fine, I ordered it and was very pleased at the CS since I ended up having to send my refurb back after a few days and wait for a new one.(Rough or stripped gears on the motor shaft made the container bounce almost off the base...I called the day after I got it and they said try it. Then after a few days it just wasn't right...smelled funny/burny and bounced badly when I put in hard stuff to try ice cream ) So I got a replacement. This one doesn't look quite as perfect, but it works beautifully! So I am very happy with the machine! Anyway, back to pricing. So I went to the state fair about a week after the replacement arrived and actually saw a demo!! It was sooo cool to see it used. I'll be much bolder about putting in frozen stuff now. But the price was MUCH better there. They were offering a new 5200 for $449, with the 8 year warranty and a free extra 32 oz container (choice of wet or dry....which I had bought with mine). I felt like the rep at Vitamix kind of misled me when she said that demos are never cheaper then buying direct. I would have definitely gotten a better overall deal at the fair and gotten a new machine. But I have gotten to use it for a couple weeks more than I would have. And we are loving the morning green smoothies. After I got the vitamix, I was researching how to use it and found this group! If only I had found it before I ordered! I would MUCH rather have placed my order through Lea Ann. Even if I paid more than I would have at the fair, I would have preferred to give Lea Ann the business since I have gotten so much information from her advice and from this group. So in hindsight, I could have gotten it a bit cheaper, would have preferred to benefit Lea Ann, and gotten a new one. But it is an awesome machine, vitamix has great cs, and the price difference won't matter over the years I use it. Most of all, the best thing is that all three of my kids now are happily eating loads of greens daily for breakfast....priceless?!!! > > > Lea Ann Savage one of the VitaMix demonstrators and the moderator of our group will get you the best deal.
