Guest guest
Hi, I made the broccoli cheese soup from the recipe book for my husband but he thought it was too thin. So we modified it and he loves it this way. Guest guest
Thanks for this! I added it to the links/recipe page of our website. I love it when people experiment and customize! Guest guest
Nice recipe! Thanks for posting. Another trick for thickening soups instead of using cornstarch or flour, is to add a spoonful of cooked white beans. I puree and freeze them into ice cube trays, then store the cubes in a mason jar (can use a zipper bag) If you just toss one or two in with your soup (or sauce) it will thicken nicely while adding a boost of nutrition. Guest guest
Hello Kat,I've never made that recipe - can you post it so I can look over the ingredients (and people who don't have the cookbook can see them) and see if I can guess what the problem might be?Thanks in advance! It tasted pretty chalky and bland. What might I have done wrong?
