WOO HOO! You will have SO MUCH FUN! I'm excited for all of you new Vitamix Owners - be sure to read your Owner's Manual, watch the DVD, and I recommend making some of your first recipes from the Getting Started Guide - if you make something from each chapter in that guide, you will have used your Vitamix machine in all of its "ways" or "functions"! :-)

Just make sure someone is there to receive it!! When I ordered mine I was all excited to get home to have it waiting for me, but they required a signature!! Imagine my disappointment when all I saw was that dreaded little UPS sticker!

I'm so glad you let us know about the signature. I was expecting mine on 9/7. I just checked the tracking info and much to my surprise, and delight I might say, mine is supposed to be delivered tomorrow! Just in time for the holiday weekend. Soooo excited.

I received mine today, aleady -- it wasn't supposed to arrive until next Wednesday.  I was shocked and so happy.  I've already made 2 things in it.  The first -- well I just threw everything I could find into it and it was tasty but I won't make that combination again.  LOL  I think I had too many veggies.   Live and learn.

Then I just whipped up a protein smoothie with a Zone Diet product I have, milk and a few ice cubes.  YUM. I am so excited to experiment with it.  I have to read the cookbook and make a grocery list.  YAY.
