Guest guest Posted February 4, 2001 Report Share Posted February 4, 2001 What are some of you making for v-day gifts this year? so far, i've got my dream pillows ready and other stuff i haven't given away yet, (balms, salts, lotion bars and bath kisses) but i'm craving to make something else (perhaps sewing wise) and can't think of anything) OHHHHHHHHH and my daughter went to a swim party yesterday for one of her friends and the mom made all the girls these towel wraps for their heads...it was toooooo cute! i have to get the pattern but basically you know how us ladies lean forward to wrap our head in a towel? well you put this cap like towel on your head, it has like a tail (comes to the shape of a " V " at the end) and your hair goes there, twist and flip it back and there's this little elastic loop you pull it through and there ya' go! so much easier than tucking that towel there by the nape area and having it come down! the girls absolutely loved it and the mom used like half of a towel to do it and it must of taken her only 5 minutes! great gift idea for sure! if she's kind enough to explain it in more detail or provide a pattern i will forward to the list! great gift idea !!!! _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
