OK- hope you all do not ignore this now- we are tentatively planning a

gathering in August in Virginia Beach. Connie (kindafunny) is looking into

hotels at a group rate- right Connie?

Yes, . I have a few places that are bidding for us right now. I

have asked for a meeting room no matter where we go. I am sure that we want

to " do the beach " but I know that Hannah can't do much more than 2 hours of

heavy sun without turning into a total washrag...

Also, if I get the receipts of all the rooms in our group booking, they

will refund about $50 which would offset our food costs... I will try to ask

everyone to remember to get an extra copy at checkout.

Well, just checked...it's right at 921 miles one way...too far for Karrie to

ride if I drive out...and too much for 2 airline tickets...

Wahhhhhh!!!!!! I wanna go, too and see all of you guys!!!!!

You can do it Sue..if I can drive to Lubbock, Texas and back, you can drive

to VA Beach and back!

There is a large DS support group in the Tidewater area. We have a few

members here on this list. I can't say for sure that I'll be there, I'm

waiting to hear about my 30th HS reunion and when that will be. VA Beach is

4-5 hours from here. They have a nice boardwalk and there are other things

to do in that area. Bush Gardens is not too far and so is burg, VA.

We are about 3 hours from VA Beach (in VA-lol). Are you allowing drop ins

for portions of the festivities?

I though Busch Gardens was burg—maybe it just seems that way cuz

that’s one of the place on I-95 where the traffic always clogs up. : )

We do not have a date set for the HS reunion yet. For now, I'll plan on going

to VA beach. Tim and , too!!
