Guest guest
Thanks , I found the site last night. How did they follow the program if the book had not been released? Was everything on the bfl website? > Meredith Brown and Porter Freeman competed in the first challenge, which I > believe was 1998. It was before the Body for Life book was even published. Guest guest
From what I understand, and of course I could be wrong, they followed suggestions in the Muscle Media Mag, but basically did their own lifting. One guy sho won said he would be in the gym for one to two hours working only two muscle groups! Another guy,I think it was Porter, that he would finish or they would find him dead in the gym. There must have been some likeness to BFL because Meredith's hubby said she was only allowed one free day a week. C
Guest guest
Hey Ladies, I am one of those people that has been with EAS since the Meredith days! I had entered the very first contest. Meredith was actually what got me really interested in the contest, as I had already been an EAS user. They did their own programs. My understanding of BFL book is that Bill did lots of research, interviews, and looking at competetors results to see what they had been doing. In the start of the contests you had to take photo with newspaper, body fat measurements were a must and had to be signed by the qualified person who did them! I can say that I like the set up now. The BFL book gives you something to start with. once you have done the challenge once you can look at your journal and see where improvements can be made. Not everyones body responds the same way to training or food intake. Sorry I rambled on a bit, got the typing bug this morning. New goal for end of BFL 1 = Start my personal training certification! Have a good BFL day Tam Free Day Sunday..... Lonestar!
