Guest guest
To all BrainMaster users: After an idea proposed by Tom Collura, I have been investigating the possibility to do HRV Biofeedback (Heart Rate Variability) with the BrainMaster unit. For those who haven't followed our previous posts on the [brainm] list I'll say that we have found it's possible, without any additional hardware, to detect the EKG signal by simply placing electrodes on various parts of the body (e.g. on the hands) instead of the scalp as for EEG biofeedback. This opens new possibilities that are worth exploring. I've created a specific software (it's almost ready), for recording heartbeat signals and trace the standard HRV plot (tachigram) and do PSD analysis (power spectrum density). Anyone interested in this subject please join the new group called "BrainMaster_HRV" on BrainMaster_HRV We can arrange to do some tests on this new software and discuss related topics (electrode placements as well as various forms of HRV biofeedback training, combined or not with EEG biofeedback). All are welcome. - Antonino Porcino nino.porcino@...
