Guest guest
Jo, I have been working on the whole package of protocols to adjust them and improve them. There is an additional one for Phase training that will be in the package I send out to all who have purchased the protocols. Try doing a bad hookup and start your recording. Make sure you have the raw waveform (total EEG on the oscilloscope Device) on screen. You'll see a signal that looks a lot like the bad BrainMaster signal, fuzzy--sometimes even fishbones! You can pause, reset the leads and restart until you have the signal lines clean. Then you should stop the recording. When you prepare to record again, I just select the same name I used for the previous file and tell the program it's okay to save over the previous file. The easiest way to see anything in BioReview is to open the program and , in the Report menu, Open the TLC Assess report. You can check or uncheck the various data files (including peak alpha frequency) to choose what you want to see. Then choose "Run on Session" in the Report menu and choose the session you want to review. The graph will be produced. After you have created the graph, you can turn on or off various measures by checking or unchecking the display boxes. Pete BE Pete,The BE package I received contained 11 protocols.I saw your post mentioning 12 protocols. Is something missing here?I tried Peak Frequency training. It is very good. But how can I check whether I have done a good hook up or not? Also how can I see the result of PF with BioReview?Would you kindly explain a little more what to put in the Signal Diagram etc?Jo Sato
Guest guest
Pete, Thank you for your reply. Do you mean I should make a new design with oscilloscope to check the hook ups? And use the same design every time before each training? By the way, would you do me a favor? Your mails have the smallest letters, and I have a hard time reading them. I have changed the setting to have a bigger letters for the incoming mails. But it is not working with your mails. Could change make it a bit bigger? Guest guest
?????Jo, Most of the designs I sent already have the oscilloscope on them (the raw waveform). You can use the design you want to use for training to look at the quality of the signal before you start recording (use the Play button). I respond in whatever format the incoming e-mail arrives. Yours come with Rich Text format, so mine go back in the same format. I changed to Plain Text for this. Hope it is better size. Pete BE Pete, The BE package I received contained 11 protocols. Guest guest
Pete, Thank you very much. The letters are bigger now. I still can't see the BioReview. The easiest way to see anything in BioReview is to open the program and , in the Report menu, Open the TLC Assess report. You can check or uncheck the various data files (including peak alpha frequency) to choose what you want to see. Then choose "Run on Session" in the Report menu and choose the session you want to review. I did above and there were 3 small windows showed up one after the other. 1.Processing Session 2.Updating Views 3.BioReview MFC Application In the window (pop up?) it said problem has occurred. Please report it to Microsoft. It processes fine only when I choose the CESample in the BE but not with my files. Are there anything I'm supposed do after hitting the stop button when I finish the training with BE? Am I missing something? Guest guest
Dear Jo If I may butt in here, I think you may be reviewing files recorded on one channel. When I did that with a one-channel hookup, BioReview froze and had to be restarted. CESample works because it includes two-channel material. Try it on that kind of file and see if it works. Guest guest
Dear , Thank you very much. But if it is the case, I cannot use TLC Assess report in the BioReveiw when I do one channel trainings. Is that right, Pete? Guest guest
Hi Jan, I have started using it, but haven't been doing it enough to make a firm decision about whether to continue with it or not. I'd be interested in hearing more about FNS. I've often wondered if it would be helpful for , but now having read that it helps chronic fatigue I wonder if it would help Kym. All the best, Mark BioReview charts Does anyone know how to use BioReview to create either a "within session" or "session to session" graph of BioExplorer sessions? I'm thinking of graphs similar to those produced by BrainMaster. I'm wanting my home trainers using BioExplorer to be able to send session summaries so I can get a fix on their progress (eg, are theta amplitudes decreasing across the session?). Any thoughts? Guest guest
Mark, You might check out a guy in Canada called Stu son, and an outfit call 'Myometrics' or some such. I have a client in a few minutes, so I can't do that now. If he's still there, he's worked extensively with CFS and FMS, and sees FNS (or LENS as it now is) as a very important part. Yes, also good for ASD! Might be well worth a look. I'll get back to you on this.
