Guest guest
Nino, This is an excellent result. Perhaps a disaster for you. One of the most difficult things to do in alpha training is to remember that it is a Zen experience. If you go into it expecting or hoping to get the same result you got last time, you will always be disappointed. Some people have a stunning response, as you did, and are then disappointed when it doesn't happen again in the same way. Go where you go. Find what you find. Each experience is worth having, and if you remain open to each new one, you'll have many wonderful ones. Enjoy. Pete first effects of alpha training I have to share this! I've moved the electrode placement on O1 as suggested by Pete, and started doing a plain alpha training. I've also made a more comfortable setup (dark room, comfortable seat) in order to be as more relaxed as possible. On the first 5-6 sessions I noticed no changes, but yesterday I had a strange experience. I found myself half awake in the middle of the night involved in a sort of creativity " processing " . I was having a stream of ideas, one after another, thinking on problems and finding solutions to them! (luckly I had pen and paper close to me so I wrote down some of them which are actually very useful). The bizzarre thing is that it was an automatic process, beyond my will, like if there was another of me doing that processing. It was an interesting experience, no doubt it is an effect of the alpha training. Today I am also experiencing a sense of " lightness " when I walk, like as I am walking on the moon. Pretty cool too. For my training I use a BrainMaster (1.9), setting no thereshold on alpha to have a continuous feedback sound (pipe organ preset). I also have set theta thereshold to 5 uV so that I occasionally can hear when a theta burst is on (a very rare event). Just had to share this! - Antonino Porcino
