Guest guest
I grew up in MA so I call it soda (also call a water fountain a bubbler). However, I lived in the south for a long time and had to get used to everyone asking me what kind of " coke " I wanted (you know, diet pepsi, sprite, etc...). And now I live in Green Bay, WI, where I've heard it called pop. I've always found geographical differences in the same country really neat - I wonder if it's like that in other countries? in WI (who used to live in AL and MA) Re: Check this out NH / MA - call it Soda or Tonic. Guest guest
Hi Nanci! Do you believe that we are so far behind in cold weather that we just got our first morning frost this morning? Of course I'm not pushing it or anything....I just don't want another blah summer like we had this past summer. ... Re: Check this out in WI: just giving a shout out to a fellow MIDWESTERNER!!!! Guest guest
Yeah I can wait for the stupid snow to get here - i hate snow and cold!!!! Yeah, it only got up to 90 degrees here ONE DAY last summer. Of course, the humidity was still high so it felt like 100+ degrees. Next summer, it would be nice to have some warmer days! (w/o humidity!) > Hi Nanci! > > Do you believe that we are so far behind in cold weather that we just got our first morning frost this morning? Guest guest
Yea, I'm in Tennessee it is all " coke. " Even if you get a Mountain Dew you're still getting a " coke. " If aspartame were a toxic poision my whole family would be dead. We consume artificial sweeteners in amazingly large quantities. My normal grocery trip includes at least five 12 packs of everyone's favorite poison. Stasia
Guest guest
I have also wondered if the Hep B shot that fifth/sixth graders get (which is given in a series) is not contributing to Chrons, IBS, and Colitis' rising numbers. During the 5th/6th grade years, bodies are under going many changes and wonder if immunity goes down with hormonal changes. There is so much we do not know about this but I do know that at the middle school level, I am seeing numbers rise at the 6th grade year. When I ask parents of my students if their child has always had this, they say it occured within a year or two - makes you wonder about the mercury. Guest guest
This is one of the late Hep b vaccine kids, got it at the age of 11. My 14 almost 15 year old daughter not autistic no behavioral issues, straight A honor student in perfect health up until the age of 12- 13.It started with warts, tremendous amount of them, she was on the swim team I attributed it to the locker rooms, pool area. That following summer, she developed severe exercise intolerance, this kid was so very active, soccer, track always moving, now she lost all ability. After exercise she would vomit for 2 hours or more afterwards. Then the breathing difficulties started, couldn't catch her breath, this was the worst at school(BAD mold problem, whole wing had to be shut down)Then she started to get what looked like Raynauds to me, bluish fingers, cold very cold hands. Then postural hypotension, she would get up from a sitting position, she would nearly pass out. That was my last straw, the pediatrician totally ignored my complaints, but I saw she was getting worse week by week. My son is being treated by a DAN immunologist, so I mentioned it to him, he said bring her in for testing. Sure enough mercury poisoning patterns were as plain as day. We began the SAME EXACT treatments my son was undergoing, GF/CF soy preservative free diet, mb12 shots and supplementation for her deficiencies, high dose folinic as she has both MTHFR mutations. Different than my son, he aggressively treated her reflux as he said that was the cause of her breathlessness, not asthama. When I look back at the precipitating factors, and what drove her to this point, was receiving the thimerosal Hep B series when she was 11- 12(she did not get it as an infant) a DPT booster with her last Hep b shot and one month later she had 4 amalgams placed in her mouth, so talk about a load of mercury all in such a short period of time. That is and was the baffling cause to her illness and I was sure and would bet my last dollar chronic fatigue was on the horizon. Now after 10 months of treatments, we have yet to do chelation, but it is something we are going to do this winter, her health has improved immensely. She said she forgot what it felt like to feel good, she said the last time she felt this good she was in 6th grade, she is now starting 10th grade. Her color is good, she is getting color back, she eats so healthy now, sees how food is the key to her health. > I have also wondered if the Hep B shot that fifth/sixth graders get (which is > given in a series) is not contributing to Chrons, IBS, and Colitis' rising > numbers. Guest guest
Well, yes, and not just the mercury but the vaccine itself. I believe that years ago (when it was still at the higher thimerosal content than it is now) that France actually stopped giving the HepB vaccine to school age children because they noticed a rise in autoimmune diagnosis' like you mention. Now, why they decided to put it on the infant schedule instead is beyond me... but at any rate, they did seem to feel it was connected to the rise in chron's, colitis, etc. that they were seeing at the time. Guest guest
okay you can try it this way if you can't see it since its still up. go to http://www.lynchburgmls.com click consumer then residential and a gray box will come up to select some options. at the very top it will MLS # and just type in 219332 and go the bottom of the gray box and click search and the address 2123 Bedford should show and just click the link. such confusing directions i know so sorry, but i did it and the listing is still up for now.i guess it doesn't come down until offical closing. kassia Use Photomail to share photos without annoying attachments.
