writing problems and right/left coordination

Hi all,

I have an 8 year old boy who is very intelligent but hasproblems with

writing (especially under pressure). Teachers say its no dyslexia since he

is not " so bad " and compensates all with his good verbal expression. Its not

ADD, althought it seams sometimes like when he has a pen in his hand. But he

is in terrible conflict with his writing problem, refuses to correct things,

to go to school, gets a head ache or just vomits without a physical reason.

I assume that there are some motorical coordination problems but the

children Doctor says he is stlill in the normal range and just wants to put

parents under pressure. Wathching his motorical behaviour shows that he cant

catch a ball with two hands (but a small one with left or right works after

few trials), has problems with diagonal movements like inlineskating and

with swimming (coordinating arms and legs). Of course he avoids these things

whenesver possible and also refuses training right /left coordination very

quickly. Sometimes he " behaves like a left handed " but he never wanted to

use his left hand for writing. There is probably some left handed background

with grand parents (but that time all were tained right).

I would like to try neurofeedback but I'm not clear about the goals so far.

Just SMR or ß training on C4 or C3 is actually easy for him. Can someone

share his experience in this field? Do I have to be careful with right /left

brain dominance in chosing the sites?

Thanks in advance

Regina
