Guest guest Posted December 5, 2006 Report Share Posted December 5, 2006 It's gotten pretty quiet here again with the holiday season upon us. So, what are you all doing??? Did you introduce any new scents or products this season? How are your shows going? I didn't introduce anything new & sales are a bit up from last year. The products I have in the museum shop are doing well. I know the ladies at the post office have been to the museum & bought my products. The store manager says they are being received well so I'm excited about that! I'm done with school on Friday for the semester. I've got about 4 weeks off before starting the spring semester & I'm only taking two classes again in the spring. Next week will be spent cleaning my kids rooms. has named 's room " The Dumpster " and Zachary's room " The Landfill. " No lie, you can't even see the floor in either room. They have already been warned that when I'm done cleaning this time they will only have furniture left & they won't be getting a ton for Christmas to replace what I take away. They're old enough to learn respect, responsibility, consequences, follow-thru, and that they need to earn what they get & not have it handed to them. LOL, mean mom I am!!! Guest guest Posted December 5, 2006 Report Share Posted December 5, 2006 Well, I was busy building a new shopping cart for my site, making lots of lip balms, lotions, and HP holiday soaps getting ready for a push when all of a sudden Thanksgiving weekend my right hand started to hurt and swell. It started at the pinky finger and spread. So, last Wednesday I saw my doc - figured he'd give me a shot and some pills and send me on my way. Nope... he sent me (that day) to a surgeon who took one look at the swelling and had me in surgery within the hour! I spent the next 5 days in the hospital and am now " out of commission " until the incisions heal and I am off the pain meds. (they are some very interesting meds! LOL) ... I sent my gifty to my secret Pal yesterday ; ))) It was sent priority, so should arrive say Wednesday or Thursday??? I enjoyed this so very much last year, and have looked forward to participating again this year. Can't wait, and I must warn you. When I get mine, I don't wait for Christmas. I'm an incorrigible peeker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll lie and say I waiting, but pssssssssssssssssssssttttttttttt, " I won't " . Busy, is the only definition I know & have lived with the past few months. Work 8 to 5, get product done evenings, shows weekends, & Hunting season/T-Day holiday flop house for all LOL. I really really love the company, but this year I was very happy to see every one go back home. Finally, had some moments to play this weekend with soaps, and play I did. It felt so good and relaxing.... I hope to have a full week of it when Hubby travels west for skiing with his buds in January.
