e-mail hell

Jan, Melis, and others,

I seem to be able to operate again in the e-mail universe, having finally

untangled

Earthlink's wisteria vine from around my operating system and gotten some

version

of Outlook to work. Unfortunately, though I did export a batch of e-mail

messages

to which I needed to respond, and I have them right on my desktop, I've had ZERO

luck getting them into any program where I can read them--much less answer them.

Please re-send to pvdtlc@... any messages you have sent me in the last

10 days to which you expected I would respond. I apologize for the snafu, but

as

my father used to say, " this hurts me more than it hurts you! "
