**Secret Buddy Exchange - 2006**

PLEASE NOTE UP FRONT- If you sign up for the exchange, you MUST

follow thru with your commitment. In the last 5 years I've had 4

people not send the gift they said they would. It is not fair to

those that participate. If you don't follow thru, you WILL NOT be

allowed to participate in future exchanges.

Sign up deadline is October 1, 2006. I will send questionnaires to

those participating offlist on October 2, 2006. I will assign each

participant someone to send a " box/gift " to. The person you send to

will not be the person you receive from. Your answers to the

questionnaire will be forwarded to your " Secret Buddy " that is

sending you a box. This will help that person get to know you &

choose an appropriate " gift " to send to you. All boxes should be

sent to your recipient by December 1, 2006. (If it isn't going to

be, you MUST notify me by email with a reason and ship date.) This

gives you 2 months to choose & send a box to your recipient.

You MUST send your box with a tracking number and email me the

number when the box is sent. You can get free delivery confirmation

when you print a label online at usps.com. *There will be no

exceptions to this rule, you MUST have a tracking number*

The minimum retail value of the " gift " should be $10. You may send

more than that if you wish, that is up to each individual. The gift

doesn't have to be soap/toiletries. You may make or purchase your

gift(s), that's up to each participant.

It is up to each participant as to whether or not you want your

identity to remain a " secret. " So you can tell your recipient when

you send the box, or you can make them guess! After everyone has

received their boxes I'll post a list of partners so everyone knows

who had who!

This has been a ton of fun in the last 5 years. It's a great way to

get to know your fellow list members, especially since we have lots

of lurkers sign up for this. So please don't hesitate, sign up today!

Any requests to join the exchange sent to the list or any of my other

email addys will not be recognized. Last year we had around 20 people

join the fun & I need to keep everything in one email box. So if you

want to join, you must send to my gmail addy! I will send you a

confirmation that I received your request.
