Guest guest
Thank you guys for letting me know. I am not familiar with what a Meth lab is, what they do with it or how they use it - guess that is more information than I need. I am going to sit back and wait. I want to see what the buyer says. I am sure not going to sell to someone that is using it to make drugs with. But still, can't they just go to Lowe's and buy Roebic??? Below is the link to the auction. Everyone that bid on it has either zero feedback or the one that won it has one. _eBay: Red Devil Lye New Unopened Soap Making Ingredient (item 270013894066 end time Aug-05-06 16:20:10 PDT)_ (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem & ih=017 & item=270013894066 & rd=1 & ssp\ agename=STRK:MESO:IT & rd=1) Dee Farmington
Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I do apologize in advance as I am cross posting this to different groups. I really need some input asap. Here is the story. I was in the mountains recently and found a bottle of Red Devil Lye on the supermarket shelf. There was only one, so I bought it. I only paid $4.55 for it. I asked them if they had anymore and they said " No " . Well, I came home and being the Ebay fanatic that I am, I searched around to see what it was selling for. To my surprise, it was going for around $27-$35 a bottle ( 18 oz.). I did see it where it went up as high as $50. Well, for $27 I can buy alot of Roebic Lye, so I put it up. I started it at $7 and it sat for a day. All of a sudden there was a bidding war on it. To shorten the story, the final bid was $51 plus shipping - for a total of $61 and change. A friend of mine said, that no soaper would pay that much for Red Devil Lye. Now I am wondering if I am going to be the target of some scam. Has anyone any idea as to why someone would pay this much. Is it that valuable? Does it do something that Roebic won't? Help. Any input would be appreciated. I can send you a link if you like to verify that I really sold it for that price. Thanks again, Dee Farmington, NY
