Guest guest
Dear Pete and others, I am setting up a " mini squash " for the first time and have a few questions. I am using 2.0 and electrodes at F3/A1/G/A2/F4 with a 2- 11 inhibit band I labeld Delta. I set it up for 2 channel training with sum channel on. When I view the training screens during training, I still see info for both channels seperately, and after the session the line graph shows both channels seperately. Is this right? When I have no reward frequency, only the 2-11 inhibit, do I want to set the threshold at 20%? Last question, I set the session for 7 periods of 3 minutes each with eyes closed. Does this seem right? Client felt it was two long and we will try 2 minutes periods tomorrow. Thank you for your responses, Griffis Anaconda, MT
Guest guest
, The program will automatically set up 2 graphs in sum-channel mode: Channel 1 graph is the sum of channels 1 and 2; Channel 2 graph is the difference between the two channels. Yes, I know that sometimes the difference between the two channels is greater than the sum of the two channels. The feedback will be on the Sum (channel 1). Thresholds are a matter of client choice. Some prefer them to be a little tougher, some like them easier. I usually use 30-50% as my time over threshold (percent of time not scoring), but with some kids I would use 20%. Training time is also a client choice issue. This is a " power-lifting " training task, literally holding down slow activity, and it's better for the client to experience effort and success than to stretch the time out too long. Shorter segments would make sense, and possibly a shorter overall training time in that area would make sense as well. You might look at finishing the session with something else, perhaps a bit more relaxing. Pete VanDeusen Practical Brain Training. 305/251-0337 pvdadp@...
