Thanks for ideas/how the classroom party went

I just wanted to say, thanks for all of your ideas - I have made a note of them

so I will have a plan ready in the future, I ended up going the gift ceftificate

route, giving most aides $5 for the local Dairy Queen. I got Livi's teacher a

gift card to an ice cream shop nearby her, and I had recently earned a $10 Bed

Bath & Beyond gift card, so I just gave it to 's teacher!

Yesterday was my son 's 4th grade classroom party. It wasn't looking good

for outdoor games because of the rain. The other mom and I were together that

morning going over the things we had, what could be done indoors - the theme was

camping, and campfire stories came up, and she remembered that she knew a

professional storyteller, who could tell some great campfire/ghost stories - so

we ended up having her there for half the party. It was awesome - honestly, I

think some kids were a little bored, but most kids seemed to enjoy it, she was

really entertaining. Since Sondra picked up the tab with that (it was her

friend) it worked out well, and I think the kids had a great party.
