Guest guest
I wear a wide shoe. These are made with plenty of toe room. I was worried about that too, but I just bought (as recommended) a half size larger than my regular shoe size. You can always try them and only wear them in the house at first. If they don't work, send them back. I have a very wide foot and need the wide toe box. Even when I got them out of the box, I was still worried by just looking at them. But when I put them on... I cannot TELL you the relief on my knees! And I have a great fit throughout. Toe box is roomy. Sides do not hurt my feet at the widest part. I ALWAYS buy a wide shoe in my NB or SPIRA and also a pair of dress shoes (which I ONLY wear to weddings or funerals and suffer greatly afterward). So I just want you to know that I have seriously WIDE FEET. LOL Now I am going to write them and ask about my inserts. From what I have experienced so far, I do not need my orthotics in these shoes. I DO need my orthotics in my tennis shoes. But the MBT's seem to form to my arch naturally. I need to try both ways (I am right now and I don't like the orthotics in here at all, I may have to scrap this experiment and go without). I cannot believe the relief on my knees. It is almost too good to be true. If ANYTHING goes wrong, I will post here to let you all know how I am doing with these. A good friend of mine had a repairman in her home fixing her washing machine. He told her to stick with the top loader because the front loaders were having MAJOR problems with the electrical components in the units. I've been waiting for my old one to die so I can get a new front loader....now I don't know. Back to the 'shoes' topic. I checked out the site and was sorry they they did not have 'wide' sizes. Shirley Question about shoes (non-ds) & gt; & gt; Hi, & gt; & gt; I was just wondering if any of you have tried MBT shoes (the anti-shoe) & gt; based on the Masai concept of walking? & gt; & gt; For more than three years I have been having problems with my knee and an & gt; unstable ankle, causing me sometimes a lot of pain. I have visited an & gt; orthopedic, I am currently having therapy, bought special braces, bought & gt; special shoes, so I can wear the braces, etc. but don't feel much & gt; improvement in my condition. The therapist has not heard of them. & gt; & gt; I have been reading about these MBT shoes and they seemed to work almost & gt; miraculously and some users claim that they solve a lot of feet, leg and & gt; back pains. The shoes are a bit expensive, but if they do work, I'll make & gt; the sacrifice to get them. & gt; & gt; I think wearing the Crocs too much, too long (at home) last summer was & gt; not a good idea. & gt; & gt; Hope everyone in the US enjoys the long weekend!
