My Gaby { 3 years old with DS} was born early as well but luckily she got to come home with me. I found out about Gaby having DS while I was pregnant with her. I don't know if that makes it easier but the doctors were prepared for her arrival. She is walking now and saying words. She keeps us busy chasing her now LOL. Gaby does have heart issues which we just found out about last august. We are moving closer to the childrens hospital for her heart surgery plus they have better doctors there. Right now we are still packing up the house and it seems endless! I will be closer to my friends though after we move so thats a huge plus also. Another good reason that this move is the right thing to do. Anyway we have 8 children, Gaby is our youngest. She has taught our family so much already and is a wonderful baby. She is our 2nd daughter; yes we have 6 boys; so thats makes her extra spoiled! Her sister is 5 years old and they play together all the time.
