Well, it is neither of the above but a mailing list. :-) A mailing list functions like a newsgroup with the exception that you do the reading and writing via your e-mail program instead of via a newsreader. Guest guest
Friends; Just wanted to share what I hope to achieve in the next month. I entered " The Power To Change " essay contest in the Ladies Home Journal sponsored by BIG K-MART and The Judds. ( any interested visit www.ladieshomejournal.com for details ) Hopefully it will be published or maybe they will do a follow up article about CMT. Deadline and winners published in March 2000. My hope is to bring AWARENESS to CMT . We live with constant change and must learn to take control of how we allow it to limit our lives. This has been my focus since being diagnosed with this little known disease. And takes a lot of energy and tenacity. Its given me purpose and sort of a " Quest " to help all of us by bringing awareness to the front. The winners (10 Grand prize Awards) get a $5,000 gift card to BIG K-MART stores ( sure will be handy to the family's budget; I have two growing kids and an older daughter and granddaughter) and a roundtrip for two to the final Concert of the Judds Power to Change Tour. I am a big fan of the Judds, and enjoy the messages their music carriers. It will be great to meet them, but even better if they would help us bring CMT to the public eye. you all have been saying for awhile now how we need a celebrity to help us) I sing many of their songs in my Awareness efforts on Wednesday nights singing at the local restaurant in my area. Their music lifts my spirits and makes me feel good. Singing has also helped breathing and vocal chord difficulties I had due to CMT by keeping my respiratory muscles stretched and exercised. Wish me luck in this effort; Hoping for more opportunities to educate and make the general public aware of CMT and what it can do. LOL (I always wanted to teach, but didn't realize it would be this instead of elementary school) Thanks for your support through all your letters here on the list. I read them often and daily to keep me encouraged with life's limitations. Love and hugs; Libby __________________________________________ NetZero - Defenders of the Free World Get your FREE Internet Access and Email at http://www.netzero.net/download/index.html
Guest guest
Dear Libby, What a clever way to make people aware of CMT. And you are just smart enough to do it. Here' hoping you are one of the big winners. Good luck, Theresa ________________________________________________________________ YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET!
