Guest guest
Yeah, that would be 's Pies. She's been on the Food Network twice now, I think. Great for her business. It's really booming! She makes other pies as well and every year I get anxious for August to get here so I can have some of her peach glace' pie. She uses fresh peaches and it is the best peach pie I've ever had! lvjensen@... wrote: > I would *so* love to go to the Grape Festival in Naples sometime. That > sounds like *so* much fun! Guest guest
There used to be a lady that made grape pies at our Festival in Silvercreek. I had one and probably won't buy another. I also saw the Food channel show and the pies looked a bit different than what was offered here. Jeanine Jeanine's Hummingbird Soap Works _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of lvjensen@... Guest guest
Well, the thumb is just sprained (so it appears) and I'm just to continue doing what I'm doing. I will wear the splint/thumb support thing and use ice and heat to bring and keep the swelling down. My biggest problem today is this stupid bee sting! I can't even see the knuckles and veins in the top of my hand and it is itching like crazy. Does anyone know of a good cream or ointment for itching caused by bee stings. I'm using an anti-itch lotion that's meant for poison ivy and it's not helping at all. I was up all night scratching like crazy. Oh well....hopefully it'll all be better by the end of the week. Guest guest
I had about 30 different kinds of soaps, some foot cream, hand cream, face cream, herbal salve, lip balm, linen spray, body mist and shaving soap sets. That's usually what I take to festivals. The only thing I was lacking was my bath salts, bath teas and body lotion. Ran out of time! Granted, I don't usually do this well at shows. Just this one. I think it's because I'm local and alot of my good customers wait to come and buy alot from me at this show where they can sniff everything. That's hard to do on my website. :-) I wish all shows were like this! Katy > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > nne, it is fun. Guest guest
I've had grape pies that taste like grape jam was spread between pie crust but there is one lady down here that makes an awesome grape pie. The texture is wonderful and her crust is amazing. To me, if it isn't a good crust, it's not a good pie. :-) Katy (ok, now I'm hungry) Jeanine Van Voorhees wrote: > There used to be a lady that made grape pies at our Festival in Silvercreek. > I had one and probably won't buy another. Guest guest
Katy, my son was given Benadryl and some other IV med when he was stung. He had a full blown reaction. I am so thankful my DIL was home.
