Guest guest
I'm coming out of lurkitude...I might not have experience, but you asked for opinions, and I definitely have those I think of Monarch butterflies first (orange), then maybe blues and yellows. While I have never actually sniffed a butterfly, I would imagine they smell kind of fresh and flowery, in a light, non-overpowering kind of way. The kind of scent that is carried on a warm summer breeze... Vague enough for ya? __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Did you check any of the silicone mold suppliers? Speaking of butterflies, as of today, I have 5 catepillars in the tank and they are growing sooo fast!!!! One of them is still sooo tiny as he just hatched yesterday, but he is still quite a bit bigger than yesterday. Shaye

Thank you for coming out of lurkdom, opinions are appreciated! And it's a good thing I didn't have a mouth full of coffee when I read the above because dh would not have been amused at coffee all over the keyboard. LOL! You pretty much said what I had been thinking. I just wanted to see what everyone else thought too, so thank you for sharing your thoughts! Guest guest
As said the Monarchs are most common to the united states....Oranges/black, yellows/black, and blues/black; and they do touch all the flowers and may smell lightly sented of that flower after..... So imagine a Orange monarch, and maybe Sweet orange blossoms..... Guest guest
Beth - Thanks! And yes, I had seen all of those. There's one I like out of all of them, the Precision Crafts one. That may be the one I end up with. I may get a mold just to see how it soaps. Thanks for sending all the links! Guest guest
ok as far as fragrances go Im thinking some kind of light floral scents and perhaps a bit fruity or citrusy (butterflies DO like flowers and rotting fruit after all) Perhaps honeysuckle for one, isn't there a scnet called confeti or something. just the name sounds like it could match. have you tried ebay. i usually see alot of butterflies on ebay. > > Okay, everyone put on their thinking caps please! > > Anyone know where I can find a simple, yet elegant looking butterfly > mold?
