Cyndi-

Welcome to the grouP! I'm glad that you decided to surround yourself with a

different attitude rather than quitting the program all together! :) I believe

my book and go by what it says. For the most part I go by whats in the book. I

am quite frankly scared to try anything else. Although once arund Christmas I

did have aprotien shake and a reese's peanut butter tree as a carb! heh heh

heh But I don't look down on anyone else who doesn't follow the plan BY THE

BOOK, and no one else looks down on anyone else either! I think you'll like it

here! Good luck on your challenge!

Some newbie ramblings

Howdy!

My name is Cyndi, I live in Northern California. I homeschool my 4.5

yo son, and 3rd grade daughter. I have a 1.5 yo son, and a 12 yo son

with autism who attends school.

Now with that intro out of the way, I have some questions. How

strict are you guys here on the eating? I have been posting on a

site that is just making me feel guilty for eating even WW bread once

in a while. They are just so strict there. There transformations

are amazing that's for sure, but I just can't handle the " No, don't

eat bread, that's a bad choice " all the time. I mean, I even eat

baked corn tortilla chips and cottage cheese, I would NEVER admit

that there!

Here I am, having transitioned from potato chips, crackers, grilled

cheese sandwiches and burgers, to eating lots of chicken, CC, egg

whites, protein smoothies, etc, and yes...the couple pieces of WW

bread every other day or so. It seems on this other site, that I

would be scoffed at, so I'm afraid to even post there. I'm *really*

feeling like a failure today because I can't stick with ONLY the

foods that Bill has listed, even though I'm always getting in the

right carb/protein ratio.

I guess I'm looking for a supportive place that doesn't look down on

a few alternate choices from what they believe is the best. I'm not

really looking to be perfect, I'm looking to improve my body and my

health, and I am doing it the best I can.

What is the atmosphere here? Do you guys feel the same way, that

eating anything other than what Bill has listed is failing the

program? Funny thing about that other site, Bill DOES list WW bread,

but most still give it a huge thumbs down.

Well, thanks for entertaining my ramblings! I just am feeling down

about my choices, but my common sense is telling me that's just plain

dumb!
