Guest guest
Or anyone else who may know the answer ! J Still working on our holiday for later in the year, my dream has always been to be in New York to see the Christmas decorations. To work in with better priced flights etc., we will be leaving a week earlier than originally planned. Information we are getting from friends, basically is we will be disappointed if we are in New York prior to thanksgiving. As shops here are really in Christmas mode early November, I would assume most other cities around the world are the same. We will probably be in New York sometime in the week of 16th November - besides the Macy's parade and the tree being switched on, am I going to really miss much else? Your comments are appreciated. Thanks Jan and Trent.
Guest guest
What you'll miss mostly are the crowds.? I'm not sure if the big store windows will be set up, like Macy's, Saks and Lord & 's.? Merchandise - wise the stores will be ready.? Some decorations will be there.? You'll also have better luck with broadway shows.? The Christmas Show at Radio City (I think) should be on .? You can check their website in April.? The earlier you come, the better the weather should be too. Kathy, Liam's mom OT - Question for New Yorkers Or anyone else who may know the answer !
