I had the pleasure of learing to soap from Beth Bryne, who showed me lye is nothing to be afraid of. I would love to attend the gathering and be a part of a swap. I've made soap and make lotions and creams for my daughters sensitive skin. If that would fit into anything, please let me know. BTW anyone whom lives in Syr surrounding area there is a gentalman whom sells Shea butter for what looked like a 1lb. ~ $5.00. There was one other size but I can't remeber the price looked to be 2 pounds or better. Yes I am in need of Lye and my sis... let her tx id lapse so now I have to file for my own so I can't buy where Deb suggested in E.Syracuse.... I may have to order on-line.
