glasses

My Alyssa has been wearing glasses since she was around 5 years. She had surgery

for strabismus and blocked tear ducts at 2 yrs and again around 7 I think. We

had a terrible time with her glasses. Like others, she would take them off and

forget where she put them, or hide them. Over the years, we've found them in

many creative places-between the glass window and screen of her bedroom window,

outside in the yard, behind the fence and under a bush, squished between the

cushions of the couch, in her toybox, etc, never in the same place twice. I can

now say (that at age 12) she wears her glasses all the time. Now she does forget

sometimes where she put them and we have a house hunt. But all in all, she does
