Guest guest
We didn't even have television when I was a kid! It came out a year or so before my eldest daughter entered first grade and I was as fascinated with it as she. When entered first grade, the difference between the children who had watched Sesame Street and those who had not was dramatic. The ones who had, already knew the alphabet, their numbers, colors, shapes, and could read. So, the first grade teachers put the ones who had not watched the show in a room to themselves to watch Sesame Street. They never caught up with the others. I still watch it now and then, even though I have no kid with whom to share it. It is so much fun! granny On Fri, Jan 30, 2009 at 11:37 PM, <ABraveNuWorld@...> wrote: > Hello All, > > Sammy and I just got home, (midnight OY).
