It is not my intention to spam people.The Zellers Friends of the Family Walk for Cystic Fibrosis 2002Livia and I will be taking part in The 15K walk for Cystic Fibrosis and we would love it if you were to either support us or take part yourself in helping raise money for funding research to find a cure for CF.Cycstic Fibrosis (CF) is an inherited disorder affecting primarily the lungs and the digestive system, which takes the life out of more Canadian kids and young adults than any other genetic disorder. Currently, there is no cure for CF, But, the possibility of a cure or an effective control is whatgives its young victims the courage to continue their figh against this terrible disease.In 1960, a child born with CF was not expected to live past the age of four. Today, due to advances in research, they are living into their thirties and even beyond. Why don't you go to the walk in Calgary? I have a ton of fun every

year and I bet Hanna would love it just because of the kids

activities and the hotdogs. You can get a registration form at any

Zellers store in your area and they will let you know the time and

location for the 26th.

CF is a cause that is very close to my heart. I knew an amazing

woman who died 4 years ago from CF while she was 7 months pregnant

with her first child. It was a very sad time for everyone in my

store, especially her aunt; whom I work with. Ever since then I have

been walking every year trying to raise as much money as possible. I

love trying to get other people out there walkig! HINT HINT lol

You know Anne, I just might have done it, all except I'm not sure that I could WADDLE for 15k!! I'm rather big already, and even a trip to the mall requires a slow walk and some sitting! I feel totally pathetic. I remember I started waddling early with Hanna, but I don't recall slowing down so much! ;o)

I was pregnant the first time I participated in the walk. I waddled

the whole way, and it wasn't too bad. lol I would have been about

4ish months pregnant, but I wasn't too big yet I think. Nothing

compared to what I was near the end
