Guest guest Posted April 19, 2006 Report Share Posted April 19, 2006 Well, how strange is that? My Internet Explorer took a dump this weekend. Was on the phone for 45 minutes with Dell tech support. (after Verizon) I was transferred to Dell on Call where I was told the cost would be $249.00 and if they couldn't find or fix the problem my money would be refunded! DS determined it is a major problem with IE. This will have to be uninstalled and reinstalled. Darn Bill Gates!! It just sits there with the little hourglass thingy and does nothing. Luckily I can still use my " favorites " folder to get to most of the sites I use. I HATE COMPUTERS!! trouble with DPC DPC, well you take a guess what that means . I am on my dd's computer just to let you all know that I am having big trouble with my computer, so if you have emailed me last nite or this morning, I did not get it. This morning we took it in to be diagnosed or whatever. I can check the site here from time to time if anybody has something to say to me but otherwize it will likely be a few days before I get my computer back. I just backed up all of my files on CD's because said there was a good chance I could lose everything. Phooey... I also began using AOL Browser (I'm on roadrunner and have aim so I can get it), it runs much better than IE; but has its issues to!!! Everyone is raving about Mozilla though. Maybe try running that and fixing the errors [it's easy and will prompt you for what to do]. Im not sure thats what he currently uses though. I have been using Slimbrowser and I like it I guess. Today is the day, Hubby is suppose to get his cast off. YEAH! Ok now for the walking cast. I imagine I will still be driving him places and carrying stuf for him for a few weeks yet. He is anxious to get out on his cycle.
