Adrenalectomy was 12/11. All was well, and was getting off all meds. Got down to Lisinopril 5mg and HCTZ 3mg with BP of 117/75. When I'd stop that small amount, I'd bounce back up to 135/95. Endo suggested last Thursday that I discontinue the meds entirely and not be concerned with my BP so much for the next couple of weeks while my body resets. However, the HTN bounceback continues and is getting worse with my BP now at 140/105 and feeling that old fuzzy headedness. Am I concerned over nothing at this point, or this labile BP not to be expected? Thanks, Jeff in many the bp will bounce around for a while. has k been recheched post op? still dash. the vessel hyoertrophy from the aldo bp takes a while to reverse. be sure to keep track of bp daily.
