Choosing Equipment

I am new to this list and would like to get some ideas regarding what

neurofeedback equipment to purchase. My interest (as a psychologist) is

to help chronic pain patients. Until I read about the new Brainmaster,

I had thought that this was about the level of equipment that I needed.

I am not interested in the many other aspects of neurofeedback, just

treating chronic pain.

I had been recently considering the Lexicor NRS-2D, which is about the

same cost as a brainmaster but sounds like setting it up is a nightmare

(Lexicor recommends that you send your laptop to them to be configured

with a new NRS02D). And then there is the Australian Pocket Neurobics

unit at about $800 or so. What would be best to treat chronic pain?
