Guest guest
I am getting these tests done this week but I am not required to be off of some of my medication I'm on which has me puzzled. I was off some of the meds previously for this test. The lab people looked it up for me and I also phoned the Endo office. I don't want an inaccurate result. According to them I don't need to be off what I'm taking... ie: metoprolol, altace, norvasc, hydrochlorothiazide. Tomorrow I'll take my meds after the blood work I think. I guess we'll see what unfolds. My Endo appt. is March 19. These tests are being done prior to that appt. I've been getting migraine headaches the last 2 weeks. I've had pain in my right eye area, forehead, cheek, etc. I'm doing better but still have headaches every day but more manageable. My tooth where I had a root canal in November continues to ache. This too is on the right upper side. My eye doctor thinks there some drooping of the eye. I said that was because of the pain. He's referring me to an Internist. There is some slight numbness on that side too. I realize this group is for hyperaldosteronism. I hope you don't mind me sharing this info. Guest guest
For the first screen meds do not need to be stopped. but still may make it difficult to interpret the results. Let us know when you get them back. Also be sure to get the normals for that lab. And ask what values they have gotten in pts with proven PA it they have done any? May your pressure be low!
