Guest guest
Weight vs. Blood Pressure (left vs. right arms)? I am a male 49 years old and 5'6" with hyperaldosteronism and adrenal hyperplasia. History of my average weight: 165 pounds in 1999 (age 42) 170 pounds in 2000 (age 43) 175 pounds in 2001 (age 44) 180 pounds in 2002, 2003, and 2004 (age 45-47) average BP 122/85 185 pounds in 2005 (age 48) - average BP 144/94 196 pounds (1/6/06 BMI 31.6) -->175 pounds (12/24/06 BMI 28) in 2006 (age 49) - average BP 135/86 Medications I've taken to loose weight: I started Hoodia on April 13, 2006 when my weight was 196 pounds. I lost 13 pounds in 9 weeks (1.5 pounds per week) between April 13, 2006 and June 20, 2006. I stopped Hoodia on September 18, 2006. I started Acomplia on September 18, 2006 when my weight was 183 pounds. I lost 9 pounds in 5 weeks (1.8 pounds per week) between November 13, 2006 and December 20, 2006 . My waist size has decreased from 43" to 41". Blood Pressure: My blood pressure on my left side is 131/88 and my right side is 142/95. Why is there a difference between my blood pressure in my left and right arms? Is there a correlation between weight and blood pressure?
