They are among a host of symptoms I had which are slowly disappearing with the elimination of the excess aldosterone. Something to do with electrolyte imbalance perhaps? I am still discovering the NEW me. After years of dragging myself around just to perform everyday tasks I did a 5 mile heart walk today in 30 degree weather and didn't even become winded, feet a little sore, that's it. No one realizes how bad hyperaldosteronism symptoms can be until those symptoms are gone.

This would affect the dissolution of some things but not others. What is the specific candy or was it all forms. How about gum? Maybe we have a new test for Conn's ;-). Give us as much details as you can. How old were you then and when your Conn's was first discovered? > I had dry eyes and dry mouth with my Conn's, didn't realize it till now, 4 months post op. My guess is that is was realted to the higher K and lower Na in the mouth and tears that may have been related to this. I am still discovering the NEW me. Guess it is coming along. ________________________________________________________________________ AOL now offers free email to everyone. I dont eat gums as the mastication process makes my jaws a bit sore, but then on further analysis, the reason for the sore jaws was the very long mastication times i had with gums. ill report more details as i can remember. my conn's was discovered in 2004 i think. david
