Will everyone who knows where the Mastoid Crease is please send me a detailed description. Pete showed me last weekend. But the other person that was there insists it is near the top of the ear and I remember that it is nearer the bottom and very close into where the ear attaches to the head. Is it the crease that runs parallel to the back of the ear or a notch running perpendicular and through the parallel crease? This could explain why I never had much success with this protocol as I had it about an inch out from the ear. Help please.

The mastoid crease usually starts near the top of the connection between the ear and the scalp, close behind the ear and running from the ear toward the back of the head. It sometimes runs as far as an inch toward the back of the head, but I usually place the lead up close to the junction between ear and scalp.

If you just find a low spot in the heavy bone near the top of the ear connection, you should be okay.
