He put me in the hospital for 25 days!!! After all kinds of tests I was put on over 13 medications and coded 4.01. They did find an ovarian tumor and that was removed. 2000: they tried again. I was in hospital for seven days. About the 4th when my bread was growing in they thought of hormonal testing. The Endocrinologist almost got a diagnosis. But my testosterone ... free & bound was super low. Note: they had me on SoluMedrol IV for three days. If I have GRA, oh well :-|. My symptoms are always intermittent. All my symptoms come and go. Being on Spironolactone 25 mg for six months was nice. My hirsuitism did not lessen but my face got more feminine :-). 2005: the doctors did not check me for PA. My own doctors never tested for PA. However, I know my original Hypertension doctor and endocrinologist did in 1993, 2000, 2001. I recall them being FRANTIC over how LOW my test results WERE. No one spoke to me about it. And yes I will be giving what few records I have to genetics. I recall my Endo. and Kidney/hypertension doctor trying to guess what I might have. The wrote Cushing's syndrome before testing and with the low test results They never continued. And there I sat with my hirsuitism.
