Quantities are limited*. *Black Cumin *(Nigella sativa*) $7.50:* Black Cumin oil is cold pressed from the black seed herb. This remarkable oil contains over 100 components working together synergistically. It is a rich source of polyunsaturated fatty acids (also known as " essential fatty acids " ), which are the building blocks of cells and help the body Prostaglandin E1. Due to its unique cell structure along with its high vitamin, mineral and essential fatty acid content, the oil is being employed for numerous ailments and deficiencies. Black seed oil is an excellent healer. It provides free radical protection, and is used for skin disorders such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, neuro-dermatitis, acne. It's a natural skin moisturizer, skin conditioner, and lightner, and daily as a natural exfoliant and cleanser for skin. *Black Current (*Ribes nigrum*) $7.00:* Blackcurrant seed oil has a very high content of gamma-linolenic acid, an important ingredient for maintaining the elasticity of the skin. Blackcurrant oil should be chosen as a key ingredient when formulating products for dry, devitalized, damaged and aging skin. It is also excellent in products for sensitive skin, eczema or psoriasis. This oil can be used at any proportion in skin care, hair care, baby care and sun care products. *Borage* (Borago officinalis) *$5.00:* Made from cold pressed Borage seeds. Borage oil is one of the richest sources of gamma linolenic acid, and it also contains important vitamins and minerals. It is typically used in high-end cosmetic formulations to nourish and hydrate the skin. Use Borage oil in facial blends for maturing skin or in blends for damaged skin where regeneration of new skin cells is needed. Use at 10%. Note- this particular oil should be kept refrigerated. *Camelina* (Camelina sativa) *$3.00:* Camelina oil is also known as Gold of Pleasure, and False Flax. It is a very rich source of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAS), and is particularly high in linolenic and a-linolenic acid. It, has a very beneficial effect on the skin, improving elasticity. It provides a protective coating for hair follicles and is a good oil to add to any hair care product. Its high content of natural tocopherols gives it a very stable shelf life against oxidation. Extraction Method: Cold Expeller Pressed *Carrot* (Glycine Soja) *$8.50:* Carrot oil is rich in beta carotene, vitamins A and E and provitamin A which helps to heal dry, chapped and cracked skin. Carrot oil helps to balance the moisture in our skin, and it conditions hair. Use it at 5 -10% in products to repair and condition the skin or hair. Use it at about 2-5% for general moisturizing. Carrot oil is a good oil for the face. This oil is standardized to contain 3300 IU Provitamin A per gram. The oil is created by infusing carrot root in soybean oil. *Cherry Kernel* (Prunus Avium) *$5.50:* Sweet cherry kernel oil is a stable emollient oil, high in oleic acid, vitamin A and natural tocopherols. It is similar in properties to sweet almond or peach kernel oils and is used in a similar manner. Cherry kernel oil is useful as a light, moisturizing oil for lip balms, body butters, salt and sugar scrubs and massage or bath oils and works well as a penetrating carrier oil in aromatherapy. Extraction Method: Cold Pressed *Cranberry* (Vaccinium Macrocarpon) *$7.50**:* Cranberry oil is relatively new to the skin care industry but has received a lot recognition for its unique natural balance of omega 3, 6 & 9 not found in any other oil and high content of natural antioxidants. This exceptional oil aids in the absorption and utilization of essential fatty acids in the skin and is said to moisturize the skin like no other oil. The oil is rich in tocotrienols (vitamin E), is light and non-greasy on the skin and easily penetrates the skin. Use cranberry seed oil in moisturizing lip balms, mother-to-be belly balms, creams, lotions, face and under eye creams etc. This oil may aid in the relief of itchy, scaly, irritated skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. Extraction Method: Cold Pressed *Evening Primrose* (Oenothera biennis) *$3.50:* Made from cold pressed Evening Primrose seeds. Evening primrose is high in gamma-linolenic acid (an essential fatty acid) making it an exceptional skin nourishing oil. Evening Primrose oil is highly recommended for dry skin problems such as eczema and psoriasis. Use it in facial blends, creams, lotions, balms and more. *Hemp Seed Oil* (Cannabis sativa) - *$3.00:* Hemp oil has the lowest amount of saturated fatty acids and the highest amount of the polyunsaturated essential fatty acids (linoleic and linolenic acids) making it a key nutritive ingredient in anti-inflammatory skin care formulations. Hemp oil is said to aid in the healing of skin lesions, dry skin, inflammations of the skin and joints. Use hemp seed oil in your soaps, lotions, lip balms and special formulations for dry, damaged or aging skin. Combine hemp oil with herbal infusions and butters to create healing balms and salves. Cold Pressed/Unrefined *Kukui Nut* (Aleurites Moluccans) - *$6.00:* The Kukui nut tree is the official tree of Hawaii and has been used by natives of this island for hundreds of years. They recognized the oil's high penetrability and soothing properties and currently they put it to use in helping sooth sunburns and chapped skin. A fabulous ingredient for your cosmetics, or as a stand-alone application Kukui nut oil contains very high levels of the essential fatty acids linoleic and alpha-linolenic. This oil is readily absorbed into the skin, providing tissues the essential elements that it needs and is particularly good for dry skin, psoriasis, acne and eczema. It seems to make chapped or rough dry skin feel smooth, silky, and soft. It seems to prevent scarring when applied to abrasions. You can use up to 10% for a great bar of soap or use 5-10% in your creams, lotions, balms and scrubs. Extraction- Cold Pressed/Partially Refined *Macadamia Nut * (Macadamia integrifolia) *$1.50*: Macadamia nut oil is a very stable oil because of its mono-unsaturated nature. The high content of palmitoleic acid also makes macadamia nut oil an effective anti-oxidant. It's fatty acids are helpful in maintaining the skin's critical water barrier functions. It is suitable for all skin types but is particularly good for dry or mature skin because of its high percentage of palmitoleic acid. The palmitoleic acid protects the skin just like human sebum does. It penetrates and hydrates the skin quickly making it an ideal ingredient in lotions, creams, balms, massage oils and bath oils. EXPELLER PRESSED *Meadowfoam Seed* *- Organic*(Limnanthes alba) *$8.00:* Meadowfoam oil is said to moisturize the skin and hair better than most oils, and it helps prevent moisture loss. In shampoos and hair care products, it helps add shine and moisture to the hair and scalp. In lipsticks and lip balms, it helps revitalize dry, cracked lips and keeps them moist longer. It provides good slip in massage oils and creams and is valued as a lubricant oil. In lipsticks and other makeup, it provides adhesion so they stay on longer. It has a high tolerance for heat and is suitable for a wide range of applications. *Neem* (Azadirachta indica) *$3.50:* A magnificent oil with numerous properties for both therapeutic use and within cosmetics. Actions include anti-septic, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal. Used widely in creams, dental products, hair care products, and in gardens for natural pest control. Can be applied directly to the skin or included within skin care preparations that are designed specifically to treat problematic skin conditions. This oil is exceptionally rich, contains a heavy odor, and may be diluted accordingly. Our Neem oil is cold pressed from whole Neem tree nuts and is blended with 15% organic Olive oil to assist in pourability, as Neem oil will solidify at typical room temperatures. *Passionfruit* (Passiflora Incarnata) *$4.50:* Passionfruit oil is expeller pressed from the fruit kernels of the passionflower plant. It is rich in essential fatty acids and is said to have an anti-inflammatory, soothing effect on irritated skin. Reputed to be a good addition to formulations intended for use on burns. It is a light oil similar to sunflower oil and does not impart a greasy feel to products. *Peach Kernel* (Prunus persica*)$2.00:* Pure peach kernel oil is very similar to apricot kernel oil. It is a light, penetrating oil that is good for mature or sensitive skin. Use peach kernel oil to make light creams and lotions, massage oils and more. Peach kernel oil is a great oil for lip balms because it absorbs easily and does not leave a greasy feeling. It can also be used as a substitute for sweet almond, grapeseed or apricot kernel oils. Cold Expeller Pressed. *Rosehip Seed* ( rubiginosa) *$5.00:* Rosehip oil is rich in essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. It has natural anti-oxidant properties and is slightly astringent. It has been shown to help improve elasticity of the skin, regenerate skin cells, slow down premature aging, reduce the formation of wrinkles, and reduce scarring (prevents the formation of keloid scar tissue). Use it in face blends for maturing skin or in blends for damaged skin where the regeneration of new skin cells is needed. Use rosehip oil at 10%. Expeller/Cold Pressed. *Sea Buckthorn* (Hippophae rhamnoides) *$21.00 or $11.00 per half ounce:* A useful, highly prized, and specific oil typically used to treat damaged skin, ulcerations, scar tissue, wrinkles, eczema, burns, etc. This marvelous oil has copious amounts of Phytosterol, Vitamin E, Beta-Carotene, Anti-Oxidants, and Carotenoid which helps to substantiate its relatively high success rate as a skin repairing and conditioning oil. Cold extracted from whole Sea Buckthorn berries. Can be applied directly to the skin or included within skin care preparations that are designed specifically to treat problematic skin conditions. (Some mild staining of skin may occur; this is temporary and washes off easily) This oil is exceptionally rich in essential fatty acids, carotenes, tocopherols, and phytosterols. The restorative action of seabuckthorn oil may be in part due to its high content of essential fatty acids, carotenes, tocopherols and phytosterols, which are all important for the maintenance of healthy skin. Concentrated oil, use sparingly. Extraction- Cold Pressed Part Extracted- Berry & Pulp *Tamanu* (Calophyllum Inophyllum) *$13.00:* Tamanu oil, also known as Foraha oil in Africa, is obtained by mechanically crushing the dried nuts of the Tamanu tree. The oil is rich and deep in color, and it smells similar to butter pecan ice cream. Tamanu oil has a soothing effect on the skin, and it helps to relieve irritations such as sun burn, inflammation and general rashes. Tamanu oil also helps regenerate skin cells and has a hydrating effect on the skin. Research shows that Tamanu oil is a strong anti-inflammatory, making it useful for the treatment of rheumatism, eczema and inflammatory skin conditions. The oil has been used for its ability to help heal cuts and wounds while acting as a germicide to prevent infection. Use tamanu oil undiluted as a treatment for eczema, psoriasis, cuts and wounds or in creams and lotions for general treatment of dry skin. Tamanu oil can also be healing in lip balms and lotion bars at 5%.
