Guest guest
Hi , Rene from Peeptoad Hollow up here in RI has a great customer in China. She thought it was a scam too, and now the guy orders soaps by the hundreds and wax dipped bears by the dozens. Here's her addy rmp7@... talk to her about it. If you want, send me a private e and I'll give you her phone #. Might be easier to get her that way. I used to have an account in Japan that was pretty lucrative as well. My suggestion would be this. If he is willing to do a wire transfer anyway, make him send it to a Western Union office near you instead of into your account. I've done that for over seas orders. Or, make him pay you paypal cash (not credit card). Don't completely dismiss this. It could be a real account. in RI ----Original Message Follows---- From: " Ryhanen " <@...> Reply- Subject: Export to China Date: Thu, 05 Jan 2006 00:44:16 -0000 Hello, all! I've been off-list for awhile....really busy with other things. I'm wondering if anyone on the list has had any inquiries about selling soap to a retailer in China. He wants to pay by wire transfer into my account. I suspect this is a scam of some kind. Just wondering if anyone else has had similar experience. If so, contact me off list. I don't get to read the list mail very often. Hope you are all well and enjoying the New Year so far. If anyone is going to Portland,Oregon in May...I'll see you there. (at the Soap Guild conference) I know Leigh will be there. Best to you all, susan@...
Guest guest
Hi , This may be legit, but please do not give out your account # without checking it out. If it is a large order, you could open a new account for that purpose so that there is no $ in the account in case it is a scam. I would recommend that they send a money order for the initial order. If subsequent orders are large, I recommend a Sight Draft. Be prepared for huge orders ongoing if it is for real. If you want to ask them for a company profile and bank reference, if they are located in Shanghai, Beijing, or Shenzhen, I can check out the company for you through one of my affiliate world trade centers. Happy New Year to all list members!!! I'm wondering if anyone on the list has had any inquiries about > selling soap to a retailer in China.
