Guest guest
Find him some Detour Bars. They have caramel and nuts. They're like a king sized Snickers but with 32g of protein and only 6g of sugar or something like that. They're really good cold. You want to get him something with at least 20g of protein and as little sugar as possible. Low carb ones like Solid Protein, Nitro-Tech, stuff like that. If the carbs are low enough, he can even eat a piece of fruit with the bar. Which bars? My hubby, who is doing this challenge with me, thinks meal replacement bars might just be the thing for him once we head back to work (still another week of vacation!). Which brands out there conform to BFL standards? What kind of carb/protein numbers should we be looking for when trying them out? (He's about 50/50 on the weight loss/muscle gain equation for his goals.)
Guest guest
i have used the balance gold bar....tasates the absolute best and has good proportion of protein to carb....but you would not want to overdose on this bar i have a friend who completed two challenges in 2001 (started in 150s got down to 117) and she used these bars some also
Guest guest
I am absolutely addicted to Detour bars but they are so hard to find. They are backordered or sold out everywhere. Best bar I have tasted. I am out of them now, know where I can get more asap? > Find him some Detour Bars. They have caramel and nuts.
