Guest guest
You could up your stearic acid a bit. It is a thickener. Or if you have any, you could use xanathan gum, a corn derivative. It's a good thickener too. --- Koalas Boutique <Koalas_boutique@...> wrote: > Hello, I have been making lotions for a while now > but I have not used > e-wax, steric acid or citric acid in a lotion much. > I have usually > been using beeswax and borax. > > So I am fairly new to this other stuff, but i tried > a few recipies > with it in and think that it is awsome. > > So my problem is..... Guest guest
I was thinking of steric but does it need to be melted or does it just dissolve in. I would assume melted right cause isn't in a waxy oil or something??? I do have alot of xanthan gum that is for sure. but I worry that i will add too much and have it get stringy. I could just add a wee bit and wait and see. Thanks for your help. I can't wait til i go home and play with it. thanks > > > Hello, I have been making lotions for a while now > > but I have not used > > e-wax, steric acid or citric acid in a lotion much. > > I have usually > > been using beeswax and borax. > > > > So I am fairly new to this other stuff, but i tried > > a few recipies > > with it in and think that it is awsome. > > > > So my problem is.....
