Guest guest
Hi and good luck starting your challenge! We all have our individual problem areas, but unfortunately, spot- reducing just isn't possible. This doesn't mean that you're stuck with a stomach you hate forever, it just means that it may take longer to get rid of than you hoped for. When you lose bodyfat, you lose it all over, so it can seem like those last places to go are really stubborn. Oftentimes, it seems that the places that gain fat the first are the last to lose it too. It really depends on the individual how quickly and at what bodyfat % the abdominals really start to lean out...many women still can't see a high level of definition at 15 or 16%, but others can see definition at a much higher %, it all really depends on where they hold their fat. It's not hopeless at all though--clean eating, hard work (getting in your workouts and hitting your 10s), drinking your water and keeping a positive attitude will get you where you want to be! HTH, Maggie > Hello, all! I'm pretty new, I have only posted once but mostly lurk and read all the great info. Anyway, I'm starting the Challenge on the 6th and want info on how to eliminate that section where your bellybutton is. Meaning, I have had 2 kids and I have worked on my stomach, but can't get rid of that nagging area around my bellybutton or mid area there. I need to be careful because I don't want to go to low on the fat percentage because I have dealt with an eating disorder so I am careful. Thank you and any and all feedback will be helpful > >
