I have similar problems, diagnosed with Conn's but I

have several adrenal hormones elevated. My cortisol

and testosterone levels have been elevated in the past

but I'm told that they're normal at present. Most

days I can barely make it through a day of work, fix

some dinner, throw in some laundry and fall into bed.

I feel exhausted whether I get 6 hours of sleep or 10

and it's been like that for years. I can't afford to

quit work and I'm too young to retire so it's very

discouraging.

, What kind of tests did you have run for the cushings? I had

cyclical cushings and the 24 hr UFC's didn't work for me. I was

extremely low during the day and high at night so they evened out.

Ask for saliva tests or midnight blood tests. Maybe that will help!

I had cushings but quite positive I had conns too. Violet

Hi there,

I posted once or twice about a year ago so am not absolutely new.

Since i have had endocrine problems I find it increasingly difficult

to hold down a job. I just left a teaching job as I was having hot

flushes and bouts of nausea all day.

I have Conn's syndrome but i get the impression that it shouldn't be

interfering with my life to this extent. I also have elevated Cortisol

but not elevated enough to get a Cushings diagnosis.

In fact all of the hormones of my adrenal cortex are elevated.

I am finding it difficult to put this disease into perspective. I am

taking inderal and aldactone and these help tremendously but I still

always feel bloated and unwell as described.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Where are you and maybe I can recommend a Dr to work with.

May your pressure be low!
