Sandy dear...it's time to ask the doctor about the wacky tobaccy.....

I'm so happy you all made it to the beach this year. This is the first year

we have not gone in over a decade. I told Tim we will not skip the beach

again I wish I could be there with you....drinking margaritas and

soaking up the sun! Stay away from Crabby Mikes (got bad food poisoning

there last year) - but take a run to Krispy Kreme and have a hot one for me!

Egads, hope the sinus problem clears up - the salt water should be good for

your sinuses.

Actually, I will be at Onslow Beach on August 2nd for a short while - last

time I was there was in December and I was with Hayley for her birthday -

Bran is moving to Texas. I'll get my quick sand and sea fix.

Read 's posting on your carepages ....what a fitting tribute for your

father! Sometimes I can just close my eyes and see exactly what

describes and be there!

Hellooooooooooooo,

I am on vacation with my husband and 3 children. This is the first time in

MANY years that all 5 of us have been on a vacation together (and I might

mention JUST the 5 of us) in many years. It is also quite possibly the last

time......actually, probably would most likely be more accurate.

We arrived at Surfside Beach, SC yesterday evening (Sat/7/12/08). Surfside

is the southside of Myrtle & more family oriented & quiet. My birthday is on

the 15th & if I get nothing other than this vacation....IT will have been a

great gift all by itself. I grew up in NY...always at, in or near the

ocean....and I miss it very much.

My husband Larry rented a condo right on the beach......what a great treat &

blessing for all of us.

**Anyone in the area that would like to stop by for a cup of ________ (fill

in the blank).

Oh....You'll never believe this...but there is a family in the condo above

us who have a 2yo daughter with DS. They live in Union county (near

Spartanburg

or something like that) here in SC.

She is SO kewt! OF COURSE.......they noticed Kali & are starting to ask

questions.....now that they got the nerve to ask if she had DS, too LOL!!!.

And OF COURSE, I will be sending the parents straight to the

list:-)

Just to let you all know that we are back from Joni and Friends camp in the

Santa Cruz Mountains and had a wonderful time. Also, today is 's last day

of drama camp. Hope all your vacations, camps, and fairs are fun ones
