Would prednisone effect blood levels of aldosterone?

Dr Grim,

What effect if any would taking high prednisone IV for three days (it was for Bronchospasm) have on my blood test for PA or GRA. I wonder is that would have thrown my results off. My results were all low. Thanks.

If you had GRA your aldo would have been driven to nearly zero or zero. Other types of aldo it would not be driven to zero.
