Guest guest
Most have early primary aldo from a tumor or hyperplasia that does not show up on scan. see my article for a review. Is spiro is helping a lot then his confirms it. May your pressure be low! C.E. Guest guest
Yes, Spiro is a lot of help for a year now. If this is early primary aldo, how should I address this concern? If no tumor nor hyperplasia is noted on a scan, is surgery still one of my options? I would rather prefer drugs to an operation. > > Most have early primary aldo from a tumor or hyperplasia that does not show > up on scan. see my article for a review. I only recommend surgery if drugs fail and spiro has been around for nearly 45 years. DASHing will help a lot. Remember-aldo must have excess salt to do its damage. Not excess salt no HTN, No DM no fibrosis etc. As we dont know what causes the hyperplasia-->ademoa(s) we dont yet know how to specifically treat or prevent it. Likely some genes at work-badly. Guest guest
Surgery would be an option if your AVS pointed to only one side being involved. But if DASHing and spriro(or Inspra) controls BP and K. I do not recommmend surgery. Many men will get painful breasts on sprio and this seems not to be a problem with Inspra. So DASH as hard as you can and use as little Spiro as you can or switch to Inspra. Work closely with your Dr. and I am happy to consult with him or her by email if there are questions. I have not met a doc here in my country with reliable record on AVS. But if DASHing and spriro(or Inspra) controls BP and K. I do not > recommmend surgery. Inspra is not available here in the Philippines. > > > So DASH as hard as you can and use as little Spiro as you can or switch to > Inspra. No health team is attending my case now. I have tried all here in my city, they all failed to recognize PA. > > May your pressure be low! > > C.E. Guest guest
You might see if you can order Inspra over the internet. Talk to a Pharmacist there to see if they can buy it for you-with a prescription of course. Is there a medical school in you area? This would be a good place to try to find someone who knows PA. Painful nipples likely due to Spiro. You can try to back down the spiro slowly and see if DASHing (no fish sauce) helps as well. May your pressure be low! C.E. Guest guest
> Painful nipples likely due to Spiro. When I had gout, I took Colchicine. An overdose was indicated by severe diarrhea. Are painful breasts and nipples in me caused by overdose of Spiro? If I back down on Spiro, I am afraid my bp might shoot up.

When I had gout, I took Colchicine. An overdose was indicated by severe diarrhea. This means you got up to a good dose and should stop. Are painful breasts and nipples in me caused by overdose of Spiro? Not an overdose, just a side effect. In my experience once this develops it is not possible to find a dose low enough to not have it. However it is always worth a slow step down to see if you can find a dose that controls BP but does not cause mastodynia-medical name for painful breasts. If I back down on Spiro, I am afraid my bp might shoot up.
