Please give us a much of your story as you can. Call it 's Story. Begin as far back as you can. You cant give us to many details. If you seach our posts you will see some other Conn's Stories as a way to get started.

Welcome to the group and we can help guide you and your health care team to decide what will be the best way to manage your hyperaldosteronism. We need the results of all lab tests to help decide which type of problem you have and the best Rx.

May your pressure be low!

Hi :Welcome to our group. We have all been in your shoes at one point. As Dr. Grim mentioned please give a history of your condition, the medications, tests, a history of yourself, etc. You will find that you are not alone and as you read the archives you will see how similar our cases have been.

Best of health to you and all

Welcome to the group! I wrote a message just like yours 1 year ago,

and was amazed to find other people out there with the same

condition. I had symptoms for 10 years before being diagnosed. The

members on this forum are the most kindhearted out there, and the

wealth of information available to you is astounding. Start reading!

Good luck.

When I click on this I get the message this cannot be found. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi there- is it or Sandy? As far as symptoms, I've had all the

normal Conn's stuff as it progressed and worsened over the years:

difficuly to control high blood pressure is the first and foremost

one. Check some of my past posts over the last year for specifics,

or anyone else's for that matter.

Here's a good link for a " general " description of Conn's Syndrome,

so you can explain to your friends and family:

http://www.surgery.usc.edu/divisions/tumor/pancreasdiseases/web%

20pages/Endocrine%20tumors/adrenal/conn%27s%20syndrome.html

Be well & keep us all in the loop.

Hey Dr Grim,

Let me try that again- screwed up my link somehow (make sure

you copy/paste both lines into your browser):

Hi- you need to copy and paste both lines into your browser-

is screwing the link up by only highliting the first line

as " clickable " .

Good this link worked. They seem to fail to mention that the great majority of Conn's are likely smaller that 7 mm and are mostly bilateral.
